The eagerly awaited Namma Metro Yellow Line in Bengaluru is scheduled to begin operations on January 6. This new line will connect RV Road to Bommasandra, passing through key areas like Electronics City, home to major companies such as Infosys and Biocon. Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya shared updates on social media, stating, “The first train is ready to be dispatched to Bengaluru on January 6. Titagarh has committed to delivering the second train by late January or early February, with the third train expected in April. Subsequently, they plan to deliver one train per month, increasing to two trains per month by September.”

Spanning 18.82 kilometers, the Yellow Line will include 18 stations and significantly ease traffic congestion for commuters. The route will connect key areas such as Electronic City, Bommanahalli, and HSR Layout, linking Silk Board to Bommasandra.
