Food delivery giants Zomato and Swiggy have introduced new health-focused rating systems to enhance food quality awareness and cater to rising demand for healthier food options. Zomato’s founder Deepinder Goyal announced the launch of a “health score,” developed using AI and restaurant data, highlighting the company’s renewed focus on customer well-being. Swiggy, which had launched its own health-rating feature called “protein drops” last week, is following a similar path. The move comes as fine-dine restaurants also adapt their menus to meet the growing preference for nutritious meals.
