India remains a crucial partner in Russia’s fuel and energy sector, according to Russian energy minister Sergei Tsivilev. The minister affirmed that Russia is prepared to increase its liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports to India through ongoing and upcoming projects, as India aims to boost natural gas to 15% of its energy portfolio. “Considering India’s plans to grow the share of gas in its energy mix to 15%, we are ready to deliver LNG from both current and future Russian projects,” Tsivilev shared with state-news agency TASS.
