A new surge of flight disruptions struck Indian airports on Thursday, December 4, 2025, with over 170 IndiGo flights cancelled, leading to widespread chaos at major hubs across the country. Bengaluru Airport reported 73 IndiGo cancellations, while Hyderabad saw at least 68 flights scrapped and Delhi around 30 affected.
The previous day had already seen at least 150 flights cancelled and numerous delays, stranding thousands of passengers nationwide. IndiGo, operated by InterGlobe Aviation Ltd., faces this setback amid a recent Q2 loss of Rs 2,581.7 crore reported for the September 30, 2025 quarter. Current share price stands at Rs 5,780.50, up 0.39% from the prior close, with a market cap of Rs 2,23,917 crore.
