State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, and Canara Bank have advised their customers to wrap up essential branch banking transactions ahead of time, in view of a proposed three-day bank strike scheduled from September 28 to 30, 2026. The banks have also encouraged customers to rely on digital and self-service banking options during this period.
In messages sent out to customers, SBI noted that certain bank employee unions have called for the three-day strike from September 28 to 30, 2026, and recommended that customers finish any important transactions beforehand. The bank further urged customers to make use of ATMs/ADWMs, CSPs, YONO, internet and mobile banking, UPI, and other digital channels during the strike period.
