Skoda Auto India has announced a price increase of up to 1.2% across its vehicle lineup, effective October 1, 2026, citing rising input and operational costs.
The revised prices will apply at the ex-showroom level across the company’s entire India range, with the extent of the hike varying depending on the model and variant. The maximum increase has been capped at Rs 20,000. This move comes as automakers continue to grapple with mounting input and operating cost pressures, pushing several companies to revisit their pricing even as India’s passenger vehicle market stays focused on sustaining demand. Skoda’s decision adds to a broader pattern among carmakers, who are adjusting prices to offset cost pressures while simultaneously competing on sales volumes, new launches, and affordability.
