Air India announced on Wednesday that its scheduled Mumbai–Lucknow flight for Tuesday was cancelled due to “operational reasons” stemming from a series of flight diversions.
A spokesperson for the airline stated that passengers were accommodated through alternative travel arrangements. The cancellation was primarily attributed to the cascading effects of severe weather in Delhi, which caused multiple flight diversions. As a result, incoming flights were delayed, and the airline’s operating crew reached their regulated duty time limits, making it unfeasible to operate the Mumbai–Lucknow flight.
Air India assured that efforts were made to minimize inconvenience to affected passengers.
