Hero MotoCorp reported a 43% year-on-year drop in dispatches to dealers in April, with figures falling to 3,05,406 units due to a three-day production halt across four of its manufacturing plants. In comparison, the company had dispatched 5,33,585 units during the same month last year.
Domestic sales also took a hit, declining to 2,88,524 units in April 2025, down from 5,13,296 units in April 2024. Export figures dipped slightly as well, standing at 16,882 units compared to 20,289 units in the previous year.
Despite the decline in wholesale numbers, Hero MotoCorp said it recorded 5.05 lakh registrations for its internal combustion engine (ICE) two-wheelers in April. The company emphasized that it has maintained a steady month-on-month growth in retail market share through 2025.
