NCRTC Kicks Off Trial Runs on Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has reached a key milestone in the development of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor by commencing trial runs between New Ashok Nagar and Sarai Kale Khan stations on Saturday night. As per an official statement, a Namo Bharat train was moved from New Ashok Nagar to Sarai Kale Khan at a slow speed on the downline to test the compatibility of the signaling system.

The trial run, which was manually operated, focused on ensuring the smooth integration of key subsystems, including the tracks, platform screen doors (PSDs), and the overhead power supply system.
