Noel Tata, Chairman of Tata Trusts, has seen his daughters, Maya and Leah Tata, appointed to the board of trustees of the Sir Ratan Tata Industrial Institute (SRTII), a subsidiary of the Sir Ratan Tata Trust. The trust is one of the two primary shareholders of Tata Sons, the group’s holding company.

Maya and Leah Tata have replaced Arnaz Kotwal and another outgoing trustee on the SRTII board. With this development, Noel Tata’s children now hold positions on the boards of all smaller Tata Trusts. However, they are yet to be inducted into the two principal trusts—Sir Ratan Tata Trust and Allied Trusts, and Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and Allied Trusts.
