Oyo has named Sonal Sinha as the Chief Executive Officer of G6 Hospitality, the American motel chain it recently acquired from Blackstone Real Estate.
The acquisition, completed in December last year, expanded Oyo’s portfolio by adding 1,500 franchised hotels across the United States and Canada.
With the integration of G6 Hospitality—known for its popular Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands—Oyo expects the combined entity to generate approximately $3 billion in gross booking value, with G6 contributing $1.7 billion.
Oyo stated that merging G6’s portfolio with its existing operations is anticipated to create significant synergies and accelerate growth across international markets.
