South Korean technology giant Samsung Electronics Co. is ramping up its recruitment in India as the nation strengthens its position as a global center for semiconductor design innovation. According to a report by Pulse, the English-language service of Maeil Business Newspaper Korea, Samsung’s semiconductor arm in India – Samsung Semiconductor India Research (SSIR) – has announced a large-scale hiring drive.
The recruitment spans multiple research and development divisions, including System LSI, memory, and foundry, as part of the company’s strategy to bolster its semiconductor capabilities and tap into India’s expanding engineering talent pool.
