After the government reduced the amount of cheaper domestic gas distributed to city gas distributors by around 20%, the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) may increase nationwide.
Price-controlled domestic gas, or APM gas, is distributed by the government to municipal gas distributors so that it can be sold to families and CNG vehicles. According to city gas officials, the most recent allocation drop may result in higher CNG costs but won’t impact home supply.
