In 2025, SpiceJet expects its Haj flying operations to bring in an estimated ₹185 crore. Nearly 15,500 pilgrims will be transported on these flights, which the airline has obtained the sole right to run from four major Indian cities: Kolkata, Guwahati, Srinagar, and Gaya. This is an 18% increase over the 13,000 pilgrims transported in 2024.
To meet the increasing demand, SpiceJet will run more than 100 special Haj flights over the forthcoming season, using both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. This is a key component of the airline’s commercial plan, since it has been managing yearly Haj operations since 2019.
