American tech giant Apple has postponed the rollout of its hypertension notification feature for the Watch Series 12 in India, pushing it to next year while regulatory approvals are pending, the company announced on Wednesday.
Pre-orders for the device are now open across several markets, including India, with the Watch Series 12 set to hit store shelves starting September 18, priced at Rs 56,900 onwards. In its statement, Apple noted, “Hypertension notifications will not be initially available in India on Apple Watch Series 12 or Ultra 4, as additional regulatory clearances for the feature for these models is in process. Availability is expected next year.”
