With Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Dahod, excitement is mounting over the inauguration of the newly completed Dahod Locomotive Manufacturing Workshop—an important infrastructure achievement for Indian Railways. Speaking ahead of the Prime Minister’s arrival, Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Western Railway, emphasized the rapid progress at the facility. “Behind me, you can see the first locomotive manufactured at this workshop. The foundation stone for the Dahod locomotive manufacturing workshop was laid just a little over three years ago in 2022, and now, within this short span, the production center is fully ready for inauguration,” the CPRO stated.
